Synoptec Implementation Strategy
Installation Planning
Prior to the installation of Synoptec, we work with you to determine the infrastructure requirements and how Synoptec should be integrated with your existing applications. During this step, we work with your IT staff to determine what new requirements there may be on your existing hardware and how Synoptec can fit within it.
Since you may integrate Synoptec with other existing applications through HL7 messaging, we will help and assist with planning for having these integrations from the external systems.

Training
We believe that training is the key to a successful implementation of any healthcare system that must become part of the workflow of clinical staff.
Clinician Training
Included with Synoptec are individual training sessions with your clinicians. These sessions can be completed through distance training (webinars) or in person and will focus on the efficient use of the system.
Administrator Training
Synoptec administrators are responsible for creating and maintaining the various templates in Synoptec and for responding to questions about the use of the application from clinicians. In order to efficiently manage templates and to support the application, the Synoptec administrator training starts with basic configuration of the application after the initial installation. During the training we work with the administrators to develop and customize synoptic reporting templates that will eventually be used by your clinicians.
Continuing Medical Education credits
Softworks has not yet applied to have Synoptec training accredited to be able to provide CME hours. This is a path that Softworks has committed to should it be a requirement of your organization.
