    Synoptec Administrator

    The Synoptec administration module allows the control of the overall function of the Synoptec solution including program administration, master tables, users and distribution.

    The administration module allows program administrators to maintain the programs supported (i.e. cancer surgery, orthopedics, GI, etc) and the users and roles within those programs.  The granular security model of Synoptec allows administrators to ensure that patient cases are only accessible to care team members from the correct facility.

    Delivering correspondence (synoptic reports, discharge summaries) to disparate recipients can be a nightmare, because of the different delivery mechanisms.  With administrator, you manage the recipients (including referring providers, surgeons, EHR and health records departments) in the system and what their preferred delivery method is.  When a report is ready for delivery, then Synoptec automatically sends to the document to the preferred delivery device including HL7 engine, email server, fax server or printer.

    Do you have a provider or facility registry?  Using the Synoptec Integrator module, you can integrate your HL7 capable provider or facility registry with Synoptec allowing for real-time updates to the recipient list.  Once you pick your providers preferred delivery method, that method follows them even after updates from the registry.

    The administrator module allows you review interface activity and to act upon issues with integrations to other systems by alerting you to potential problems based upon rules that you configure including malformed messages and channels not providing data for some time.
